# Balances

> One balance per service, country and currency

[`GET /mobile-money/balances`](https://docs.kemypay.com/api-reference/balances/list) returns one balance for each of your services, in each country and currency open to you. A balance is `"0.00"` until you collect there.

```bash theme={null}
## Rules
* **Each service has its own balances.** Your apps never share money.
* **Money stays in its country.** A payment collected in Cameroon credits the Cameroon XAF balance of the service, which only pays out to Cameroonian numbers. XAF from Cameroon does not pay out in Gabon, even though both use XAF.
* **Congo - Kinshasa has two balances**, CDF and USD.
* A successful payment credits `net_amount` (after the fee) — see [Who pays the fee](https://docs.kemypay.com/guides/fee-bearer.md).
* Test keys return test balances, separate from live balances.
Payouts to mobile money numbers are coming soon.
